I hail from Windsor and grew up in a village just outside the town. I married Nicola in 1981 and we lived in that same village from 1984 until we moved to Luddington in the summer of 2022.
I qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1982 and worked predominantly in London with a number periods of
working abroad. I retired in 2016 and with my wife formed a Quantity Surveying consultancy which we are now slowly winding down.
Our passion is our family, we have two sons and currently three grandsons. I have an interest in most sports, mainly golf these days, I was golf club captain at Eton College Golf Club
in 2007. Additionally, I have undertaken a lot of DIY including designing and self-building an extension and garage to our previous house. I have also made, from a kit, a Westfield sports car.
